Vauxhall History co-editor Naomi Clifford will be talking about Scotland Yard’s ‘golden boy’ Chief Inspector Nathaniel Druscovich, who in 1877 became involved with the notorious Turf Fraud Gang.
Druscovich, who at the time of his arrest lived in South Lambeth Road, appears as a character in 13 Park Lane, Naomi’s fictionalised account of the murder of Madame Riel in Mayfair in 1872.
Presented as part of Lambeth Readers and Writers Festival 2025 and National Crime Reading Month.
